Living on the side of a mountain has its advantages, as it is easy for me to train for my climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro. The likelihood of having to walk “up” to get from point A to point B is extremely high. Last Sunday, my sister and I started our “trek” at Ambleside Park and walked up to the British Properties, commenting on the homes as we did so. It made for an enjoyable few hours of camaraderie. Hiking does not always have to be in a forest!
