Well, this Easter weekend was spent purchasing equipment for Mt. Kilimanjaro. I bought new boots, and a back-pack. It is amazing how much time I spent on just these two items! Who would have thought?
This past week has been busy. My computer, which had been on its last legs for quite some time – but which I stubbornly ignored – died the previous weekend, so I replaced it. Thank you to my nephew Paul for helping me to set it up. I am now back in business! And over the Easter weekend, I officially transitioned out of my role with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). I have mixed feelings in letting this go, but I know I cannot train, fundraise and lead a local Association and do all three well… particularly as fundraising is not my forte. I like to advocate for causes; fundraising is quite a stretch for me....
